Overall the paint shows well, however like any 28 year old vehicle there are some routine blemishes like stone chips and etching in the clear coat. It's deep green, almost black, hue is a real head turner and unique to this platform. This F-Package equipped Celsior is in amazing condition with only 54k verified miles. The Japanese model had more options available than any of the US counterparts were offered while still retaining the same serviceability. This particular example, a 1991 Type C is finished in Toyota's optional Black Jade Pearl (6K4) two-tone which looks fantastic. The Toyota Celsior embodied luxury and durability, and for that reason, has stood the test of time. After years of pursuit, the Japanese could finally make the argument that they had produced a finer luxury sedan than BMW and Mercedes. The overall execution exceeded Toyota's expectation and a new benchmark was reached.
